Sixth: Scientific Research and Creativity Unit:

This unit is responsible for providing an excellent environment for scientific research and creativity, whether for faculty or students, to stimulate and develop innovation skills and creative research knowledge, as well as create good opportunities for participation and cooperation with research centers at the local and global level.

Mission of the Scientific Research and Creativity Unit:

Promote a pioneering research environment that helps faculty and students develop their creative skills and research quality.

Tasks of the Scientific Research and Creativity Unit:

• Providing a research environment that encourages scientific research.
• Developing the capabilities of the college’s activities in the field of scientific research.
• Establishing an electronic database to document the research activities of students and faculty members and highlighting the research advantages of each member to create new research opportunities.
• Cooperation and participation with the Deanship of Scientific Research and other supporting bodies to obtain support for the college’s research.
• Urging to go to research groups with colleges or other bodies.
• Motivating faculty members and students to publish.
• Holding an annual "Scientific Research Day" and supervising workshops on the basics of scientific research, as well as empowering students and faculty members to present their research.
• Supervising the establishment of the Research Excellence Award, selecting the court committee, and allocating incentive awards.
• Motivating faculty members and students to participate in local and international scientific conferences.
• Educating students and faculty members about the field of patents and providing possible tools for patent registration.
• Preparing a periodic report at the end of each semester on the unit and submitting it to the Deputy for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
