Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies

The Faculty of Maritime Studies is considered as one of the distinctive faculties in King Abdul-Aziz University, and highlights its importance being the first faculty in the Kingdom, which provides high quality maritime education to produce competent Saudi qualified personnel in the field of hydrographic surveying and maritime transport, and to keep pace with the requirements of modern development in technology, economic and security fields, the preservation of the environment and maritime safety in Saudi Arabia.

Given the serious deficit suffered by the Saudi market in the shipping industry, the aim of the Faculty is to fill this deficit through graduating specialized and qualified personnel trained in multiple maritime areas.
