Abstract
:
Epilachna chrysomelina is one of the beetles that belong to Coleopetra. Such insect is harmful to cucurbitaceae in general and to the Zucchini in particular. Then it is the research aim, to study the alimentary canal of the Epilachna chrysomelina, and study of the anatomical canal and tissue formation of it. Such Epilachna chrysomelina which is used in the study has been brought from some farms near Makkah AL-Mukarramah, as it has been found living on some Cucurbitaceae specially Zucchini vegetable. After collecting the insects, they were put in special baskets until take them to the laboratory for the purpose of running the study on them. The study started by the anatomical process and taking out the alimentary canal, then study it well, making tissues sections to know how is it compound. To know the formation of the alimentary canal in particular the med gut which is bigger than the fore gut and the hind gut. The fore gut found to be very small or very much smaller. Typical methods were used in preparing the sections, dyed, then recording the results and notes that have been obtained.
