Abstract : P athogenicity test using five isolates of fusarium oxysporwn f.sp. midis ~ lycopersici (FORL) previously isolated from diseased samples of tomato showing typiealsymptQms of Fusariumcrown and root rot in winter phmmtioos of tomato in Jeddah district, Saudi Arabia revealed that they were all able to cause damping of! .symptoms in tomato plants. In 'this respect FOrl (isolate No.2) was the most aggressive one in inducing the disease• in tomato plants. Dental panoramic radiography is an extremely popular technique. with more than 2 million films taken annually in the United Kingdom alone. Many radiologists are not familiar with the formal interpretation of dental panoramic radiographs. The purpose of this study 1S to report our experience in interpretation of dental panoramic radiographs in 50 patients. The study included 30 men and 20 women ranging in age from 6 to 78 years; mean 30 years. Dental panoramic ra- digraphs showed caries in 19 out of 50 (38%) patients. infec1ion in 6 (t 2%) patients, restorative material! in 34 (68%) patients, missing teeth in and an unerupted third molar tooth in 11 (22%) patients. Periodical infection of 8 teeth. There were 16 unerupted teeth in ] 1 4 vertical, 4 me• sioangular. and 3 and 1 was 800n in 15 (30%) was seen adja• cent 10 the angle In conclusion, den- tal panoramic radiography an . Knowledge of normal radiographic anatomy, notation, and radiographic appearance of common pathological conditions is needed. A systematic approach of interpretation and feedback from the dentists would help radiologists provide maximum diagnostic information.
