:
This study aimed at evaluating the performance Jordanian seventh graders in Jordan in verbal expression. The study strictly tried to answer the following questions: what are the oral expression skills required for students of the seventh Jordanian grades?, what are the sample population performance levels to these skills in objective tool prepares by researcher? To answer the question of the study a tool was prepared to measure the oral expression performance at the basic stage. The tool was applied on a regular spontaneous sample consisted of (54) students of grade seven studying at Jordanian governmental schools. The results revealed that the level of students performance (sample population) in verbal expression, in general, was not satisfactory as the percentage of aggregate performance reached (54, 3%). This percentage points out that the student's performance was weak and low. The study concluded several recommendations and suffusions most important.
