This thesis contained a preface, two chapters, conclusion and Index.
First chapter contained the dictum interpretation of Holy Quran, its
importance, pattern and sources. Also about the companions’
interpretations, its importance, definition, reasoning, sources, the
famous interpreters among the prophet’s companions and their
debates in interpretation, may Allah bless them all. The second
chapter contained a collection of dictums interpretations books, and
also contained a theme concerning the collections of prophet’s
endowed sayings from Ibn Jarir’s interpretations and Ibn Katheer. It
also discussed a comparative approach between the new and old
interpreters, as well as a comparative study between Ibn Katheer’s
and Ibn Jarir’s interpretations in their studies about the endowed
prophet sayings and the scholars’ discussions about the correctness
of endorsement in the absolute considerable control in accepting the
endowed prophet sayings in the interpretations of Holy Quran. The
study ended with a conclusion that addressed the outcomes and
results, among of which: the significant efforts made by the
interpretation scholars in collecting the companions statements within
the Holy Quran interpretations, literature approaches, used
fundamentals in such collections, their rejection, acceptance or
verification in respect of their endorsements. The study ended with
indexes highlighting its contents.
