Abstract |

In cogitating in modern Arabian studies, which concerns the style investigations
in the critical heritage, will find that they replete with researches about what Abd
Alqahier Aljerjani had presented at this area, through his common theory in rhythms,
and about what Haziem Alkurtajenni has achieved in the same track, when he held a
special investigation for the style in his theory. Still more studies until the day
hovering around their poetries; tribute to what had achieved on their hands from
scientific rooting, merging more - with what the latest trends of modern Stylistic had
got!
With the appreciation for the value they presented, however, it is injustice to
stand at the efforts of our ancestors and the heritage criticism they were faithful to at
the limits of where they were standing without commenting, as the reader in the
critical heritage before Abdul Qahir and Hazem. Especially, during the third and
fourth Islamic centuries, we will find creative, intellectually, and tangible activity in
various style Investigations and issues. However, it is strewn under another terms
other than the style term. They are completed in its section and not lacked when
investigating and returned sight, but the systematic accurate editing. Hence, the
purpose of this study was to draw a line to follow our ancestors critics in and before
the fourth century, to improve their efforts in the style area, through standing at it
concepts, clarities, and monitoring its measures they adopted in assignment and
dealing, while their criticism for poetry texts, and their judgments on them, as they
are good or bad.
The nature of the study necessitated to be divided into four chapters and a
preface, at the preface dealt the style in the critical heritage: its concept and mission.
While the study chapters dealt at length with the standards of style criticism, the first
chapter talked about standards of choosing single word, where the critics pay more
attention for this part, this chapter had been divided into six investigations which are
respectively: accuracy, ease, abundance, familiarity, wit, and then use.
The second chapter dealt with standards of structures building. It wasdecided
that single word even it had speech importanceand uniqueness, but it is not
something even engage in context and coalesce in writing, and it came also in six
investigations, which are the appropriateness between the words, merging structure
parts, poetic weaving uniformity, writing validity, the similarity between words and
meanings, and finally the conciseness.
Then it dealt with talking about standards of rhythmic structure in the third
chapter, which had been divided into four investigations, dealt In the first part: the
internal rhythm in two investigations: Acoustic rhythm and semantic rhythm, while
in the second part: dealt the external rhythm in two investigations: weight then the
second talking about rhyme.ط
And made the fourth chapter for Symantec level standards, as they arranged in
the chapter: Description hitting, the approach in the analogy, metaphor
authentication, and then metonymy.
The most important and prominent findings for this study, and sought achieve
them: Strengthen the efforts of our ancestors critics to the end of the fourth century in
style area, And demonstrate that they have given a lot and very much; as evidenced
by, inter standards that they have adopted in the criticism of the poetic style. These
standards – as the study evidenced - matching for many of the latest modern Stylistic,
at the level of choice, structure, an shift (change). |
