As a result, it will produce competent Saudi human resources, develop the national economy and support the access of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to become a member in international organisations.

Mission

High quality education and training on an international level in the field of hydrographic surveying, nautical science, marine engineering, and ports and maritime transport. All the while in accordance with the provisions of the university and the systems of the International Organisations (IMO, IHO, and UNCTAD), the donors of the International Certificates of Competency, and in-line with the needs of the development plans and the labour market in the maritime transport and marine surveying industries within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
